On December 4, 2023, Ann (Levine) Rosenfield, at age 80, passed away peacefully at her home in Enfield, Connecticut. Ann was born on May 24th, 1943 in Hartford, Connecticut to Evelyn and Maurice Levine. She attended East Hartford High School and graduated in 1961. She married David Rosenfield on June 14th, 1964. Together, they ran Rosenfield Caterers and Dave’s Deli in East Lyme, Connecticut. She was deeply involved in the Jewish community, both as a lifelong member of Women’s League and Organization through Rehabilitation and Training (ORT), as well as sitting as President of Sisterhood at Temple Emannuel in Waterford, CT and Temple Beth Hillel in Bloomfield, CT. Ann is predeceased by her husband, David. She is survived by her brother, Nahum (Harriet) Levine, cousin Natalie Fox and children, Heidi (Richard) Savin, Lynn (Joel) Solomon and her grandchildren, Abigail and Dena Solomon and Suzie Savin. Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, December 6th at Sinai Temple, 1100 Dickinson St, Springfield, Masschusetts 01108 at 11:00am, with burial following the service at Hartford Mutual Society Memorial Park, 74 Wolcott Rd, Simsbury, Connecticut 06070. Shiva will be Wednesday, December 6 at 7 pm at the home of Lynn & Joel Solomon.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ann’s honor will be accepted at the Solomon Special Events Fund at Sinai Temple in Springfield, Massachusetts and the American Kidney Fund.
