Carol Haase

August 13, 1931 — December 19, 2024

Carol (Olderman) Haase passed away on Thursday Dec. 19th at Baystate Medical Center. She lived in Longmeadow. Carol was the daughter of the late Rose and Michael Olderman of Woodbridge, CT. She was the widow of Lewis E. Haase, who passed away in 1987. Carol graduated from Ansonia High School and received a BA degree from the Univ. of Bridgeport. She worked for many years in the JCC preschool department. Carol leaves two loving sons, Mark (Diane) and Randy (Judy), and five adorable grandchildren Max, Alexandra, Zachary, Benjamin, and Aiden, all from Maplewood, NJ. She also leaves her sister Reyna Stein currently living in California. Her loving and adoring partner Mace Shapiro passed away back in 2016. Carol was a member of Temple Beth El and its sisterhood. She is also a member of Ropdhey Sholom of Holyoke and was a life member of Hadassah and the JCC of Springfield. Her funeral service will be Sunday Dec. 22nd at 11:00 AM at the Ascher Zimmerman Funeral Home with burial to follow at in West Springfield.
