Cynthia Kittredge

Cynthia Kittredge, 83, died Thursday, October 10, 2024, at her home in Longmeadow, MA. She was married to the love of her life Chuck Kittredge, until his passing after 53 years of marriage. She was the mother of Jeff (deceased), Lauren, Scott & Leslie, and grandma to Joel. She also leaves behind Jenn Caron, and her children Timmy, Amber & Daniel, as well as Amber’s children Askari and Ana, whom she loved very much. A lifelong resident of Springfield, Cynthia was the daughter of Alexandra & Dwight Shaw. Cynthia had a zest for life and loved to travel the world experiencing everything it had to offer. She will be remembered fondly wearing large sunglasses, walking the streets of Longmeadow with her beloved dog Brinidi. She was an accomplished woman, with two masters degrees, and an avid knitter, who was always the life of the party. A funeral service will be held at Sinai Temple on Monday, October 14, at 10:00 am, with burial to follow at Sinai Memorial Park. The family request memorial contributions in Cynthia’s name be made to Thomas J O’Connor Pet adoption Center at tjoconnoradoptioncenter.com or Shriners Children’s Hospital at donate.lovetotherescue.org.
