Doris Schatz

Doris L. (Strassberg) Schatz, 102, passed away on Monday March 11th. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she graduated from Brooklyn College before moving to Springfield in 1946. Doris was a travel agent for more than 25 years and traveled extensively with her husband Samuel. She was a member of Temple Beth El and JGS Lifecare. Doris was predeceased by her husband Samuel Schatz in 1999 and her son Steven Schatz in 2019. She is survived by her son Barry Schatz and daughter-in-law Jean Schatz. Doris’s graveside service will be Thursday March 14th at 11:00 AM at Beth El Cemetery.
