Longmeadow-Gloria J. (Bloom) Rothman, 94, passed away Saturday Oct. 19th. She was a graduate of the former Classical High School and received her bachelor’s degree from Boston University. Gloria taught elementary school for many years in Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey, retiring in 1991. She is a member of Sinai Temple and was a volunteer for Rachel’s Table. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Rothman in 2001. Gloria is survived by her son Mark and daughter-in-law Monica Sirtori, her son Richard, her sister Susan Haskell, niece Sally Haskell, and nephew Robert Haskell. Her graveside service will be Wednesday Oct. 23rd at 1:00 PM at Sinai Memorial Park. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
