Grace Herrup Hoff 1931-2025
Longmeadow - Grace Herrup Hoff passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children on March 24th in Longmeadow. Grace grew up in West Hartford, where she attended Hall High and later the University of Connecticut where she obtained an associate’s degree. She married Dr. Irving Hoff in 1957, who she shared 47 years of her life within Longmeadow. The couple had been members of the Sinai Temple since the 1960s, the synagogue playing an important part of the young family’s life. After having children, Grace became a successful realtor with a 40+ year career based in Longmeadow. She was a lifelong avid reader, even up to a few days prior to her passing. It didn’t matter if it was a magazine or a novel, she was passionate about literature and all forms of it. Grace was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dr. Irving Hoff in 2004. She is survived by her two children, Lewis and Susan Hoff of Longmeadow. A private service will be held at a later date at Sinai Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that friends make donations to the American Heart Association in Grace’s honor.
