Harriet Sobil

Harriet Sobil, age 92, passed away peacefully on August 29th in Northampton,
MA surrounded by her family.
Predeceased by her husband Richard Sobil and son Howard Sobil.
She is survived by her children, Margie Sobil (Daniel Cantor Yalowitz) of
Greenfield, MA, Len Sobil of Los Angeles, CA and Melissa Sobil ( Mike Zitomer)
of Westport, CT.
Her loving grandchildren, Sam Plotkin (Daniela Jacobson) ,Dovrah Plotkin, Alana
and Ty Zitomer and great grandchildren, Naomi and Diego Plotkin.
Born to Rose and Samuel Bloom, Harriet grew up in the West End in Boston,
MA. After high school, she attended secretarial school and worked as a legal
secretary. In 1957, she married Richard and they raised their children in
Lawrence, MA.
She and Richard spent their retirement years living in Delray Beach, Florida.
A cemetery service will be held on Monday September 2nd at 11:00 am at
Children of Abraham Cemetery, 111 Beacon Street, Lawrence MA
