Jeffrey Alan Steinberg passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024 in Naperville, Illinois with his loving family by his side. He was born in New York City on February 15, 1950 to Phyllis (Wurtzel) and Herbert Steinberg. Jeff graduated from Technical High School in Springfield and the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. He enjoyed a long career as a pilot – first serving in the 104th Fighter Wing at Barnes Air National Guard Base in Westfield, Massachusetts, followed by 33 years at American Airlines. Jeff leaves behind the love of his life, his wife of 45 years, Brenda (Reisman) Steinberg, and his two sons Eric (Stephanie) Steinberg and Jason (Sneha) Steinberg. He also leaves his sister Jane (Brad) Albert, his brother Howard (Kerri) Steinberg, his brother-in-law Jeff Reisman, and many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be private and arrangements are being made by the Ascher Zimmerman Funeral Home.
