JESSICA (Jess) STEINMAN

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jessica Steinman. Jessica passed peacefully surrounded by friends and family on January 23, 2024, at the age of 43.

Jess was born in Springfield Ma. on Leap Year, February 29, 1980. She was the beloved daughter of Frederick Steinman of Longmeadow Ma. She was predeceased by her mother, Linda Painchaud Steinman, of Longmeadow.

Jess was an amazing person and a gifted musician and singer. While in school she played viola, french horn, and piano. In high school she played at Carnegie Hall with two different orchestras. In addition, she had an extraordinary voice and sang opera. In later years she worked in the management office of the Eastfield Mall, before starting her own business, "In Touch With Spirit", as a Psychic Medium and Reiki Instructor. She touched the lives and hearts of many.

She is survived by her father, Fred, and his wife Marla of Longmeadow, her aunt June Desantis of Agawam, her aunt and uncle, Carol and Ron Stearns of Arizona, aunt and uncle, Sharon and Michael Steinman of Lexington, South Carolina, and many cousins. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her fraternal grandparents, Pauline and Nathan Steinman, maternal grandparents, Joe and Mary Pinchaud.

A Celebration of Jess' Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday January 29, 2024 at the Ascher-Zimmerman Funeral Home.
