Judith August

Judith (Goldstein) August, 88, passed away Thursday, February 13, at Baystate Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Abraham Goldstein and Sophie (Horelly) Goldstein. Judi graduated from Classical High School Class of 1954. She was a homemaker and mother, living the majority of her life in Longmeadow, MA. She was a voracious reader, she loved opera and Broadway and created works of art with her needlepoint & knitting skills. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years Bennett "Bud" August of Longmeadow.
She leaves her four children Mitchell (Margaret Phillips) August of Worcester, Richard (Ellen Henneberry) August of Staatsburg, NY, Neil August of Beaverton, OR, and Jill (Nicholas) Carra of Feeding Hills, her six grandchildren Sydney and Madison Carra, Hannah and Hallie August, and Aaron August and Kayla (Blake) August Becker, as well as two great grandchildren Grant and Isabelle "Izzy" Marren. Her graveside service will be on February 19 at 11:00 AM at Sinai Memorial Park.
