Judith Ruth Spitzer

Enfield, CT- Judith (Judi) R. Spitzer, 87, passed away this past Sunday at Baystate Medical Center. She was a graduate of the former Classical High School in Springfield and later graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design, where she received a BA in Fashion Design. Judi worked for Carter’s as a designer for 5 years before meeting her late husband Alan I. Spitzer. Judi was a beloved mother, grandmother and even great-grandmother. She was also a devoted member of Sinai Temple for many years. Judi was a lover of the beach, enjoyed boating with her husband, and was a keen decorator who had many artistic talents and interests. Judi leaves behind two daughters, Alison Spitzer of Whitehall, PA, and Sharon (Donald) Bridge of Somers, CT, three grandchildren; Lindsey (Felix) Rodriguez, Daniel (Tori) Bridge, and Mackenzie Bridge, and three great-grandchildren; Owen, Milli and Theo. There will be a graveside service at Sinai Memorial Park on Friday April 26th at 11 AM. Instead of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions to be made in her honor to either the Baystate Hospital Foundation or Sinai Temple. Ascher Zimmerman Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
