Merrie Grace Kaye

December 21, 1953 — October 21, 2024

Merrie Grace Kaye, age 70, of Longmeadow, MA, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 21, peacefully at home in the company of family. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Joe Kaye; son Bryan Kaye of East Longmeadow; Daughter Jenny Wertheim of Wilbraham; daughter-in-law Becky Kaye, son-in-law Ben Wertheim and three grandchildren, Rachel Kaye, Charlie Kaye and Nathan Wertheim. She is also survived by her mother June Weiner of Longmeadow, Sisters Leslie Townsend of East Longmeadow, Jamie Williams of Naples FL, brother Brett Weiner of West Springfield and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
Merrie earned her PhD in Biblical Clinical Counseling in her later years and established a practice, Soul Support Ministries, with her husband Joe, a certified Life Coach. Merrie has touched and helped countless numbers of people throughout Western Mass and Northern Conn. as well as elsewhere for over 18 years and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
There will be a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, November 2 at the Pioneer Valley Christian Academy, 965 Plumtree Rd. Springfield at 7pm. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the Dr. Merrie Kaye Education Support Fund at the Pioneer Valley Christian Academy.
